A rail system that was constructed during the Column Era and designed by Geppeto Wirbel, it was begun consecutively in Arcadia, Sabbatholm, and Carnelia, because they were considered the "central" nations, and later was branched out into the whole of The World. The System was the first universal transportation system and served to bridge all nations. Check points along the way allowed the vehicles to change the heading of trains into directions away from hostile nations or broken down lanes. The System also revolutionized warfare by moving vehicular warfare into a central position.
The rail system was damaged during the wars that followed it's construction and eventually was upgraded into what is now considered a maze of railways.
