The Pillar Ascension Ceremony is a ritual that takes place when a new Pillar is ordained by it's gemstone. A Pillar of elemental essence (the element depends on the gemstone) will surround the newly appointed Pillar, they will unconsciously close their eyes and some have described they will do a circular-slow twirl with their hands out while a gemstone appears on their ear-lobe. The Pillar of essence will glow (the color of the gemstone) and seem to ascend indefinitly into the sky, the Pillar of essence can seen worldwide and is notable for being a beautiful, yet evoking sight.
